Workshop overview
This 3-hour intensive intensive workshop is designed for teachers, teacher assistants and students who are eager to learn more about effective and efficient group work in the classroom.
The workshop includes two dedicated sessions focused on:
  • How to give clear, effective instructions – helping teachers communicate tasks so students understand exactly what to do.
  • Classroom analysis – observing and understanding classroom dynamics to improve teaching decisions

At Mosaic, we value educators' vital work and provide direct support through practical, skills-focused training. Our sessions concentrate on core areas like classroom management, facilitating effective group work, and fostering reflective learning practices. To date, our flagship program has impacted over 150 South African teachers, teaching assistants, and student teachers from Gauteng, the Western Cape and KZN.

Given Molekana
primary school teacher
I attended the teacher training with Mosaic Foundation facilitated by Zhenya, and it was such a valuable experience. I had the opportunity to meet and share ideas with teachers from different schools across the country, which broadened my perspective on teaching practices. The sessions were practical, engaging, and thought-provoking, and I walked away with new strategies that I can apply directly in my classroom. I especially appreciated the interactive approach and the chance to learn from both the facilitator and fellow participants.

Basame Simango
high school teacher
The Mosaic Teacher Training was an insightful and practical experience. I learned how to actively engage learners in the classroom by using strategies that encourage participation and interaction. The training also introduced me to the effective use of AI in the classroom, showing how it can be applied in creative and fun ways to support both teaching and learning. I found the sessions to be highly relevant, and I feel more equipped to make my lessons both engaging and innovative.
